NAKED SCRABBLE

"Naked Scrabble" was to get your attention. It has no bearing whatsoever on what is to follow.

Which is, in a nutshell, scrabble as a vehicle for tragedy. I never knew that scrabble could be tragic. Until I watched this short film.

That ending stays with you, doesn't it?

The brains behind that video is Liz Dubelman, who is somehow connected to Dan & Vickie Dubelman, the husband and wife team that comprise the musical group, Betty Dylan. Betty Dylan is the Americana version of Sonny and Cher. I emailed Liz....

MY DETOUR INTO S&M PORN.....

In November, 2005, I landed a role in Johnna Adams' wild ride of a play, The Sacred Geometry of S&M Porn.



Sacred Geometry had an all-star OC cast with cool people like Jill Cary Martin, Kerry Perdue, Scott Barber and Rich Kopps. I played a Dom and I had lots of lines. Here's what I looked like:

Not a pretty sight, huh?

OC Weekly self-appointed theatre asshole Joel Beers called my performance "very unfortunate," but hey, I'll take it.

It gets better. Johnna's play was nominated for a big award:
